Content creator Rodolfo "Fofo" Márquez was found guilty this Friday of attempted feminicide after assaulting a woman in a traffic altercation in Naucalpan, State of Mexico. During a hearing held on January 24, the controversial influencer was held responsible for beating the woman in a parking lot in February 2024.
At the January 22 hearing, Márquez claimed to be incapable of killing, even a dog, and requested to be charged with assault rather than attempted murder, also arguing that the victim insulted him. However, the evidence presented by his defense was insufficient to prevent his guilty verdict.
Another hearing is expected to take place on January 29 to determine the sentencing against Rodolfo "Fofo" Márquez. It was revealed this week that the influencer married Melanie Lattanzi in prison, who is believed to have been present at the scene.
A person on Twitter wrote: "To all the idiots who justify or defend such Fofo Márquez, I hope that if that guy gets free, he does the exact same thing to your moms to see if that makes you start using your brains."
